It’s a Guys’ Thing

My November 17 blog entry advised readers to watch this space for news of another restaurant opening in Park Potomac, that new development in Potomac off I-270. Glad you’re here, ‘cause this is a big one: The three guys who own Cava Restaurant and the upcoming Cava Mezze Grills are joining forces with the two guys who own Mamma Lucia’s restaurants, and opening Sugo Macaroni and Pizza Bar. It’ll include Italian-inspired small plates and wood-fired artisan pizzas, with Cava’s chef, Dimitri Moshovitis, at the culinary helm. Sugo, by the way, means “sauce” in Italian.Planned opening, at 12505 Park Potomac Ave., is spring or early summer 2011.
