Ren’s Ramen to Open in Wheaton

Ren’s Ramen, the Japanese noodle shop with a bit of a cult following, will be resurfacing sometime early this spring, at 11403 Amherst Ave. in Wheaton. The location used to house Provisions Catering, which moved to Rockville in late September. I spoke with Ren’s co-owner Yoko Nakamura, who said the new space is undergoing a complete renovation, and that she and her husband thought they would open in February but that there is still a “lot to do.” Ren’s, formerly at 6931 Arlington Road in Bethesda, closed on September 3.
