How would you describe your personal style?
"Traditional"
Where is your favorite place to shop?
"For clothes, all over: Nordstrom, Talbot’s, Lord and Taylor, catalogues, that kind of thing. For furniture, local antique stores."
What is one must-have wardrobe item?
“My classic black slacks and my red leather jacket. I can always wear my slacks, and my husband bought me the jacket down in Williamsburg several years ago. He said I needed more color in my wardrobe.”
How has your style evolved over the years?
“I’m more conservative as I get older. I’m a baby boomer and I was young in the ‘60s and ‘70s when the music and style was fun. I would never wear bell bottoms again!”
What’s on your fashion wish list?
“What I wish is that they would make better slacks for women that would come up to your waist instead of below, because when I was growing up we only had slacks that would come up to waist. That was more the style and now it’s too low on the hips.”
