On Oct. 6, Urban Country celebrated its silver anniversary of providing luxury interior design services and home furnishings while raising money for local breast cancer health services. The event included a silent auction that benefited The Power of Pink – a unique fundraising group dedicated to raising funds for local organizations that provide breast health services to women, regardless of their ability to pay. This year’s anniversary celebration was even more significant since Rachelle Roth, founder and owner of Urban Country, was diagnosed with breast cancer in August of 2015. She is now in remission and back to her normal routine at Urban Country. The Bethesda Row retailer’s Anniversary Celebration & Silent Auction Event raised $10,650.
