Bethesda marketing firm Popcorn & Ice Cream, hosted a launch party for its founder Hillary Berman's first book, Customer, LLC: The Small Business Guide to Customer Engagement & Marketing. Held at Hera Hub DC, a women's-focused coworking center in Friendship Heights, the party also celebrated the firm's five-year anniversary and spotlighted local, small businesses, including Glen's Garden Market, The Itty-Bitty Cake Company, Noshy Cookies and KRa.

Customer, LLC is a marketing book just for small businesses. It provides guidance and perspective on how small businesses can grow their businesses by embracing customers. The book draws on examples of successful small businesses, many in the Bethesda and Washington, D.C. area.

Proceeds of sales from the launch party were donated to BUILD, a nonprofit that supports young, aspiring entrepreneurs in under-resourced communities through experiential learning programs.
