The Universities at Shady Grove’s Scholarship and Donor Recognition Luncheon

The annual event was held on Friday, November 16

More than 200 scholarship recipients and the local organizations and individuals who contributed to 38 scholarship funds were honored during the Universities at Shady Grove’s annual Scholarship and Donor Recognition Luncheon on November 16.

Two students enrolled in programs at USG spoke at this year’s luncheon on behalf of their fellow scholarship recipients: Jonathan Lapkoff, who is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the University of Baltimore’s Simulation and Digital Entertainment program at USG, and Jennifer Vasquez, who will be graduating with her bachelor’s degree in December from the University of Maryland, College Park, communication program.
