The City of Rockville’s 25th annual Hometown Holidays brought about 60,000 visitors to Rockville town center over a crisp Memorial Day weekend.

They enjoyed more than 30 live musical performances from popular local and regional bands, community groups and others. The street festival was sponsored by 21 businesses and included the Taste of Rockville with food from 20 local restaurants, sponsored by Community Ministries of Rockville and the Rockville Chamber of Commerce.

Children and their families enjoyed and rides and other entertainment and a variety of organizations hosted information booths.

The weekend celebration was capped off with the City’s 69th Memorial Day ceremony and parade, one of the largest and longest-running parades in the region. Visit www.rockvillemd.gov/hth for more details.
