On Sunday, February 12, 400 Bethesda-area residents rode at Equinox Bethesda in Cycle for Survival—the national indoor cycling event that raises money to fund research on rare cancers, led by Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
This year, more than 10,000 cyclers are participating nationwide in the event. In total, the event has raised more than $7.7 million this year, bringing the 6-year total amount raised to more than $16 million.
Former D.C. United soccer player, John Harkes, was among the participants riding at Sunday's event.
