

This Texas-based chain became a favorite among young families when it opened in Bethesda in 2002. The vibrant colors, lively music and servers who welcome kids with their own menu of pint-sized Mexican fare (complete with crayons for coloring) would be enough, but it’s the tortilla machine that charms children most.
“They’re just captivated,” says General Manager Dave Cullen, who hands out balls of dough to kids watching the mechanical wonder flatten, then fry steaming stacks of tortillas.
