Julia Farr

Shopping at Julia Farr is like visiting a friend’s beautifully decorated closet.

The store, which opened last summer, is filled with exquisite, well-thought-out clothing—and comes with a built-in stylist. Farr, 44, believes in helping clients create an entire look—or an entire wardrobe—from top to bottom. “I call it wardrobe architecture,” the Chevy Chase native says.

She’ll even make house calls for a variable annual fee or for a flat $125 an hour, which includes discounts on apparel.

She carries jewelry from local artists and clothing from new and emerging designers such as Halston Heritage, ADAM, Cynthia Steffe, as well as her own Julia Farr line.
