Montgomery County’s 25,000 licensed dogs got a new hangout just over a year ago: Cabin John Dog Park. Tall trees surround the mulched, well-maintained area, with space designated for large and small dogs, rock climbing, water fountains and covered pavilions.
Sadie Bechman’s dog is among those who enjoy the park. “We’ve seen Lulu, our yellow lab, mature here,” Bechman says.
For use of all five dog parks, county residents pay $40 annually for one dog, $5 extra for “siblings.”
