Burning Tree Elementary School

With a student body representing more than 37 countries, Burning Tree teaches its students to be world citizens.

Plenty of school activities focus on issues beyond the classroom, like raising money for Haiti’s earthquake victims or collecting food for local shelters.

Inside the school, the emphasis is on inclusion, particularly when it comes to the students with disabilities who attend its Learning Center. “It’s a very inclusive environment and atmosphere,” PTA President-elect Yvonne Van Lowe says.
