At Owen’s Ordinary, diners can expect to find bar-tavern fare that’s reasonably priced and well executed. With a list of 50 craft draft beers and lots of bottled choices available, the menu is geared toward dishes that pair well with beer. Chef Anthony Piscioneri, a third-generation cook who learned his craft preparing meals with his family rather than attending culinary school, has honed his skills by working in restaurant kitchens for 22 years, including for Matchbox Food Group and Passion Food Hospitality.

Here are photos of seven dishes at Owen’s Ordinary taken by Justin Schuble, who grew up in Bethesda and Potomac and is the creator of the popular website and Instagram feed, DCFoodPorn.
