Spice 6 looks at May arrival to Bethesda

Spice 6 Modern Indian, a regional fast-casual chain, will arrive in Westfield Montgomery mall in May, according to the company.

The location will open in mid-May between Chipotle and Grill Kabob in the Bethesda mall’s dining terrace.

The chain, which has locations in Hyattsville and Vienna, Virginia, offers a mix of Indian specialties, including rice bowls, salads, naan wraps, kabob platters and naan pizza. Customers can personalize each dish with a choice of protein, curries, chutneys and sides.

Spice 6 also announced this week that it also will be expanding into D.C., with a location in Chinatown opening in mid-April.

Mon Ami Gabi unveils croque madame burger

This month, Mon Ami Gabi will offer a special menu item: a cross between a croque madame and a burger. The burger includes a whole croque madame—with ham, Jarlsberg, béchamel and a sunny side up egg—on top of a burger on a brioche bun with a side of frites.

The burger is available every Tuesday in March. The Bethesda restaurant will continue burger night throughout the year by offering different specialty burgers.

March Mussel Madness deals at Mussel Bar

Bethesda Row seafood restaurant Mussel Bar & Grille is offering an all-you-can-eat mussels special for $28 per person during the month of March. The deal includes $2 off draft beer purchases.

Jaleo holds Cherry Blossom Wine Dinner

On March 19, Jaleo in Bethesda Row will hold a dinner celebration of springtime with a menu of seasonal dishes paired with Spanish wines. The courses at the Cherry Blossom Wine Dinner include Iberico ham carving, pork belly confit with Luxardo cherries and chilled cherry soup with Idiazabal cheese ice cream for dessert. Tickets are $86 for the 6 to 9 p.m. dinner.
