The National Weather Service forecasts an 80 percent chance of freezing rain and sleet after 1 p.m. The precipitation is expected to continue into the night.

Also, Montgomery College announced that it will close on Monday at noon. All evening activities were canceled.

On Friday, MCPS started two hours late because of icy-cold weather.

School was canceled on Thursday, also because of the cold.
