For Memorial Day weekend, Rockville will host its 30th annual Hometown Holidays Music Fest.

The festival includes a lineup of concerts as well as a selection of more than 20 food and drink vendors for the Taste of Rockville. The event will close with a ceremony and parade on Memorial Day.

Performances by more than 30 local, regional and national artists and bands will fill the weekend. Four stages will be set up across six city blocks around Rockville Town Square.

Participating in Taste of Rockville are eateries including Amici Miei Ristorante, Botanero and Fresh Baguette, as well as new area establishments Pandora and Pinstripes (see the full lineup here). Food will be available for purchase with tickets, which cost $1.25 each, on May 26 and 27.

The event will also include activities for kids and a sand pile.

At 9 a.m. Monday, the Memorial Day Ceremony will kick off with a performance from the Rockville Concert Band and Chorus, followed by a wreath-laying event and a 21-gun salute. The parade, featuring marching bands and floats, will begin at 10:30 a.m. The parade starts on Martins Lane, then continues to North Washington Street and past Rockville Town Square.
