Four Montgomery County communities rank among the top 10 most diverse in the country, according to a WalletHub study.

Gaithersburg, Germantown and Silver Spring placed second, third and fourth, respectively, while Rockville placed ninth. No other Maryland cities or communities were ranked in the top 30.

The report considers cities based on ethnicity, race, language and birthplace.

The rankings of the four areas are largely unchanged from last year, when they were all in the top 10, except Gaithersburg supplanted Germantown from its No. 2 spot last year.
