An Annandale, Virginia, food hall serving Asian fare is expanding into Pike & Rose.

The Block will open its second location in 2019 in the North Bethesda development, according to Federal Realty, which manages Pike & Rose. The food hall will take up an 8,500-square-foot space at 967 Rose Ave. and will include vendors such as Pokéworks offering poke bowls, Taiwanese “SnoCream” and Asian street food.

Washingtonian first reported the new food hall.

The Annandale location, which features an array of vendors in a smaller space, opened last year.

The Block will join other Asian food halls planned for the area, including Pike Kitchen in Edmonston Crossing and The Spot near downtown Rockville, which are set to open this summer in Rockville.
