Portion of Wisconsin Avenue To Be Closed Saturday

Closure will allow equipment to be hoisted to roof of building

A portion of southbound Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda will be closed from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, according to the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Regional Services Center.

The section, between Cordell Avenue and Battery Lane, will be closed to hoist equipment onto the roof of 8200 Wisconsin Ave., according to Rick Adley of Traffic Engineering Services.

If weather interferes, the work will be rescheduled for Jan. 28, according to a notice in the center’s “Neighborhood News” newsletter.

Detour signs will be posted for motorists. Pedestrians will be directed across the street using signalized crosswalks.
