Montgomery County police are searching for two people who they believe broke into a residence in the 10100 block of Thornwood Drive in Kensington just after 2 a.m. on Oct. 8 and stole property.

Police released surveillance video Tuesday that appears to show two men sneaking into a back porch. One man takes a brick and throws it at a sliding glass door, shattering it.

The two men enter the home. One, carrying a pillowcase, spots a video camera inside and appears to tamper with it before the video ends.

The residents were not home at the time, according to police.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them at 240-773-6710.
