Six people were taken to the hospital, including one considered a priority 1 trauma patient out of a scale of 3, with 1 being the most serious.

Piringer reported that southbound lanes were still closed and some northbound lanes were still blocked at 9:15 a.m. The lanes were reopened at 1 p.m., according to police.
