Man Fatally Shot in Apparent Homicide in Germantown

He was found dead in his apartment, police say

A man was found dead from a gunshot wound Saturday afternoon in his Germantown apartment, according to police.

After a 911 call about a man who had been shot came in at about 4:30 p.m., first responders found a man dead in an apartment in the 12900 block of Falling Water Circle, Montgomery County police wrote in a press release.

Police have not yet released the name of the man, but said he was a resident at that address.

Detectives are investigating the death as a homicide.

Police have asked anyone with information to call 240-773-5070, or leave an anonymous tip to Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 866-411-TIPS (8477) to be eligible for a reward of up to $10,000.
