The music instrument retailer announced the store will have its grand opening at 10 a.m. Thursday, according to a press release.

The California-based Guitar Center, which bills itself as the world’s largest instrument retailer, will sell guitars, amplifiers and keyboards as well as other instruments and recording equipment. It also offers lessons, rentals and repairs.

For its grand opening, the Silver Spring Guitar Center will offer free T-shirts to shoppers as well as deals including special financing for instruments and free registration for lessons. Radio DJs will also be giving away gear and gift cards.

Guitar Center will be open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m Sundays.
