The developer of Pike & Rose announced Thursday that a new clothing boutique store will open in the North Bethesda development next year.

Scout & Molly’s will open in early 2018 at 11882 Grand Park Ave., a spokeswoman for developer Federal Realty said. It will occupy 1,205 square feet between Sephora and the planned taco restaurant Nada in the ground floor of the Henri apartment building.

The store is part of a chain with 35 locations across the country and 35 more planned in the next year, according its website.

Scout & Molly’s is named after founder Lisa Kornstein Kaufman’s two Labrador retrievers.

Carrying brands like AG Jeans and Spiritual Gangster, the stores sells a variety of women’s clothing options and promises “a friendly face and an honest opinion,” its website states. The stores also host private shopping events and offer personal stylists for refreshing closets.

Clothing retailer H&M opened down the block from the planned Scout & Molly’s on Sept. 14.
