18-Year-Old Identified as Fatal Shooting Victim in Germantown Apartment

He was a resident of the apartment where he was found dead



An 18-year-old man from Germantown has been identified as the victim of a fatal shooting at his apartment on Saturday.

Andrew Douglas Turner was found dead with an apparent gunshot wound in his apartment in the 12900 block of Falling Water Circle. Montgomery County police released his name Tuesday afternoon.

At 4:36 p.m. Saturday, police were sent to his apartment for a report that a man had been shot.

Police are investigating his death as a homicide.

Police have asked anyone with information to call 240-773-5070 or leave an anonymous tip to Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 866-411-TIPS (8477) to be eligible for a reward of up to $10,000.
