Date Announced for Jayna Murray 5K — The second annual Jayna Murray 5K Run/Walk will be Nov. 4 to raise money for the Jayna Troxel Murray Foundation. Murray, an employee at the Lululemon store on Bethesda Avenue was killed in March 2011 by coworker Brittany Norwood. [Bethesda Patch] Chef Geoff's Opening Soon on Rockville Pike — Geoff Tracy will open his Chef Geoff's restaurant in the former Houston's and Againn Tavern space at 12256 Rockville Pike on Sept. 12. Tracy also owns Lia's (4435 Willard Ave., Chevy Chase) and Hank's Tavern & Eats in Hyattsville. [Bethesda Magazine] Chevy Chase Moms Create College Visit App — Susan Jones and Elizabeth Van Sant created Quad2Quad, an informational iPhone app for parents taking their children on college visits to 74 U.S. colleges.
